This little mouse was so much fun to make for the cats! It has a little cloth bag of catnip inside, and is needle felted using wool roving, which the cats also love. I used gray wool yarn for the whiskers and tail. This pattern came out of the sweet needle felts book.

I would love to start doing it with my kids. Any recommendations on a book?
ReplyDeleteI started with a book called "Sweet Needle Felts." Another good book is called "Woolpets", they actually make some kits as well, you can find them at www.achildsdream.com. You can also find wool, needles, books and everything you need to start needlefelting, They actually have a starter kit too.
